Take a Break from the Bear Market and Join the Fight Against Climate Change
Hey there! It’s the Climate Guardians, and we’re back and ready to share our story with you.
As some of you may know, we took a brief break from social media, but that doesn’t mean we stopped working. In fact, we’ve traded in our office chairs for a cozy cave, where we’re cooking up some wild and hilarious concepts for our first game.
Last year, we embarked on a fundraising campaign to bring Climate Guardians Defender — a mobile resource management and multiplayer real-time-strategy game where players actions have real world impact on climate change, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to raise a seed investment round, we initially planned. Despite this setback, we’re here to tell you that we’re not giving up on our mission. But we’ve got great news! Funding has been secured for a proof of concept that’s more manageable in terms of game development. This is our opportunity to showcase our abilities and bring a unique and contemporary perspective to life.
For those who don’t know us, Climate Guardians is a game development studio with a mission to protect our planet through the power of play. Our concept, “Play to Preserve,” is simple: we create games that allow players to make a real-life difference in the fight against climate change.
So, what have we been up to? Well, we can’t spill all the details just yet, but we have some very exciting news to share in the near future. Trust us, it’s going to be worth the wait.
We want to thank you for your continued support and encouragement. Our journey wouldn’t be possible without you. Lastly we would want to say thanks to the friendly bear who swapped caves with us, even though we were all a bit worried about the Bear Market. Ahem.
